Veriteq Data Logger Test & Calibration Services

Why Recalibrate?

Why should I calibrate my Veriteq data logger?

Even with perfect care, every type of sensor becomes less accurate over time. Factors such as component ageing, the environment, and handling all have an impact on accuracy. When compared to the costs associated with erroneous data, do-over validations, recalls, liability, failed audits, or the impact of out-of-tolerance conditions on products or processes, the cost of regular calibrations to maintain an instrument’s accuracy is minimal.

For more information, read our Why Recalibrate? whitepaper.

A2LA Accredited Temperature & Relative Humidity Calibration

We provide test, calibration and certification services for all our Spectrum and VL-series data loggers that meet the demanding calibration requirements of the FDA, ISO 9000, and other recognized quality assurance systems. Computer assisted procedures ensure that all our instruments conform to required specifications.

Our temperature and humidity calibration lab is accredited with A2LA for ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 standards.

Relative Humidity Calibration & Test Facilities

Veriteq performs routine RH and temperature calibrations accurately, quickly and economically. Calibrations are done in a specially insulated and temperature-controlled RH environmental chamber designed for uniform air circulation and temperature and humidity stability.

We use a Thunder Scientific Model 2500 "Two Pressure" Humidity Generator with a rated NIST-traceable RH accuracy of +/-0.5% RH over a range of 10% to 98% RH and 0 to 70° C. The chamber can be programmed for any RH or temperature point within the rated ranges. Typical calibration profiles are programmed at 11%, 45% and 80% RH at 25° C.

In addition to the use of the Thunder Scientific chamber, Veriteq employs a completely independent system (an RH Systems/MBW Calibration Model 373 Dew Point Mirror) to verify results and provide the highest possible level of assurance that calibration results are correct.
