Veriteq Cleanroom Monitoring, Alarming & Reporting System

Many processes in drug manufacturing andclean room monitoring solution - veriteq instruments
microelectronic production are performed in
cleanrooms, where particulates are filtered and environmental conditions like humidity, temperature and pressure are strictly controlled.

Veriteq's cleanroom monitoring solution viewLinc™ is a complete system for continuous recording and 24/7 alarming of environmental conditions in cleanrooms — ideal for applications such as assembling and packaging sensitive components, manufacturing medical devices and electronics, and industrial processes that meet the requirements of ISO 13485 and ISO 14644.

Many cleanrooms use chart recorders to monitor temperature and humidity. However, chart recorders have many inherent deficiencies that place product quality at risk. Inspection and accreditation problems can arise when there are gaps in environmental data caused by overwritten chart paper, dry pens, or power failures. In addition, most chart recorders lack an elegant method for alarming when conditions go out of tolerance. Simply stated, chart recorders are labor-intensive, prone to mechanical problems, and incapable of remote alarming when conditions have exceeded thresholds.

Some cleanroom facilities switch out their chart recorders for low-cost data loggers. Unfortunately, these often have serious sensor drift issues. While data loggers lack the mechanical problems of chart recorders, their sensors may not be calibrated for stable accuracy. Users may not become aware of how far out-of-tolerance a sensor has drifted until the next time the data logger is calibrated. Then, there will be some serious questions to answer: How long has the sensor been out of specification? What products or processes were affected? In the end, neither chart recorders nor low-cost data loggers can protect against data gaps and ensure regulatory requirements are met.

viewLinc™ A Reliable Solution to Cleanroom Monitoring

Veriteq's viewLinc™ system networks independent, highly calibrated data loggers, each equipped with a 10-year battery and large on-board memory. With superior accuracy, Veriteq data loggers monitor and alarm temperature, humidity and other parameters via analog sensors.

Easily installed on any standard network, the viewLinc system can be remotely administered and monitored from any PC on your existing network via Ethernet, PoE or WiFi. Unlike most centralized monitoring systems, Veriteq’s data loggers record conditions at the point of measurement, rendering critical environmental data immune to power failures and network interruptions. Ideal for both FDA-regulated and industrial cleanroom applications.

When conditions exceed their pre-configured thresholds, viewLinc sends specific alerts via phone, pager or email. All actions taken to rectify conditions are recorded in detail, in secure files. Technicians can get a real-time view of conditions, and auditors and supervisors can see changes over time in a historical graph or report.

viewLinc provides:

  • Gap-free Records
Recorded data is stored independently in three ways — in each data logger, in the host PC, and in scheduled back-ups.

  • Automatic Reports via Email
Historical and event reports are sent by email on a schedule you create. No need to remember to generate reports.

  • Flexible Alarming Management
Select alert delivery via text & email to PC, cell-phone and pager. Annunciate alarms with dial-out, lights and buzzers.

  • Secure, Reliable Records
With high-stability sensors, greater accuracy, and complete audit trail, viewLinc ensures no event goes unrecorded and no critical environment goes out of tolerance without alerting pertinent personnel.
