Setup Instructions for viewLinc 1.30 and 1.40 with Digi Devices
This page is designed to walk you through the process of setting
up your viewLinc system. Please complete the steps in the order they
are shown.
- Download the Quickstart Guide
- Download the software for your Digi device
This software has been approved for the following Digi models:
- Digi One RealPort
- Digi One SP
- Digi PortServer TS 1, 2, 4, 8, or 16
and the following Operating Systems:
- Microsoft Windows 2000
- Microsoft Windows XP
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003

- Connect the Digi Device
Perform Step 1 in the Quickstart Guide
- Configure the Digi Device
Perform Steps 2 and 3 in the Quickstart Guide
These steps must be repeated for each Digi device you have
Note: If you do not have a Digi CD, extract the Digi software
downloaded above and run the program called "DeviceSetupWizard.exe"

Install the Digi Driver
Perform Steps 4 and 5 in the Quickstart Guide
Note: If you do not have a Digi CD, extract the Digi software
downloaded above and run the program called "setup.exe"
in the Digi Driver folder.

Set RealPort Configuration on Digi Device
This step has already been completed if you purchased your Digi
Device from Veriteq Instruments. If you did not purchase through
Veriteq, or if you performed a factory reset on your Digi Device,
please download and complete the RealPort
Configuration Guide.
- Install Veriteq Software
Perform Steps 7 to 11 in the Quickstart Guide
