Humidity Monitoring - viewLinc Monitoring & AlarmingChallenges in Choosing a Humidity MonitorHumidity Monitoring for Regulated & Critical IndustriesOver the years, a variety of industries have struggled to comply with increasingly stringent standards around quality assurance. In manufacturing environments such as bio-pharmaceutical, electronics, instrumentation and medical device manufacturing, despite technological advances in metrology, humidity remains one of the most difficult parameters to accurately measure. Yet, procedures and methods for monitoring humidity are more regulated than ever before. Because humidity affects all physical, chemical and biological processes, by the time monitoring humidity becomes critical, problems have already arisen. The costs and risks associated with even slight changes in RH have a huge impact on products and processes. Veriteq's humidity monitoring solution provides an accurate and reliable system for monitoring and alarming humidity in critical applications. Data is recorded and communicated in fail-safe, autonomous, self-powered data logger that, when combined with viewLinc software, sends alarm notification when humidity levels go out-of-tolerance. More than a humidity monitoring system, viewLinc and our calibrated humidity data loggers record, report and archive data; and because our humidity sensors are highly stable, you can trust the data that is obtained. How Important is Humidity Monitoring? As important as your critical product and processes.Veriteq's fail-safe and easy-to-install solution for humidity monitoring never loses data and never lets you down. Why? Because each humidity data logger is powered by a 10-year battery and has on-board memory that records independently of your network. Humidity is our specialty and our RH data loggers are more accurate over time than any other system. To comply with regulations put forth by the TJC (JCAHO), the FDA, ISO 17025, Metrology/Calibration labs and Electronics manufacturing environments, both temperature and humidity often need to be displayed for monitoring and alarmed 24/7. Real-time data is displayed to ensure "in-spec" performance, and records of all changes and system events are recorded, creating an audit trail for quality reviews and inspections. Although many facilities are equipped with centralized HVAC systems, these systems can't fulfill accurate, industry-specific monitoring, recording, and reporting requirements. Depending on your needs, the choices typically then come down to one or more of three basic methods: Manual "pen and paper" systems, Chart Recorders, or a secondary centralized hard-wired system. Because each of these methods has advantages and disadvantages, facility managers often have to make compromises to get the humidity/temperature monitoring system that is compliant and within budget. However, systems based on a network or mechanical devices like chart recorders cannot be relied upon for accurate, archived data. Veriteq's humidity and temperature monitoring system combines all the advantages of other methods with none of the downsides. Our solution is easier to install and deploy than any other system.
