Data Logger

Veriteq SP-2000-LRH

  • Specially-calibrated Temperature and Relative Humidity Logger offers 2% RH accuracy over the measurement range of 0 to 20% RH
  • Ideal for monitoring very dry storage environments including ultra low humidity cabinets, desiccators, and dry boxes
  • Monitor specimen drying processes and storage of reagent , forensic materials, DNA samples, and biological cultures
  • Circuit board oxidation and corrosion prevention

The SP-2000-LRH Low Humidity Data Logger shares the same features as the standard Spectrum 2000 Humidity & Temperature data logger model with the exception that the LRH unit has been specially configured and calibrated for optimized accuracy in ultra dry environments (0 to 20% RH).

Three Point Calibration

The SP-2000-LRH is calibrated at three points: 0%, 11% and 20% RH. The 0% RH environment is achieved by placing a logger in an enclosed tube then purging the tube of moisture through the use of nitrogen gas. The 11% and 20% RH calibration points are achieved with the use of a two-pressure Thunder Scientific RH chamber.

Accuracy Notes

  • In order to achieve the specified accuracy over the 0 to 20% RH range, measurement accuracy over 20% RH is adversely affected. Consequently, the SP-2000-LRH is not recommended for measurement applications in environments over 20% RH.
  • For optimal long-term performance, the SP-2000-LRH must be stored in conditions less than 30% RH.
