Buying Tips
- Veriteq data loggers are compatible with Palm OS handheld devices - however - that doesn't mean that you are only restricted to the "Palm" brand. Many different manufacturers make Palm OS handheld devices such as Sony, Kyocera, Handspring, Fossil, etc. Just make sure it is compatible with Palm OS. Note: Pocket PC handhelds (such as the Compaq iPAQ's) are not compatible with Veriteq data loggers.
- Remember: You'll need an interface cable or device to connect with your Palm handheld. Check to see if the Palm OS handheld device you buy has the "Palm Universal Connector". If it does, you can connect the handheld to your Veriteq data logger with the PLM-IC-500 interface cable.
- If the handheld does not have the Palm Universal Connector (and some don't), you can still easily connect your data logger to it using the handheld's IR Interface port and Veriteq's IR Interface module.
