The SP-1000-21X Refrigerator & Freezer Temperature data logger has been designed specifically for high accuracy monitoring of Hospital and Lab cold storage applications.
The SP-1000-21X data logger shares the same features as the standard Spectrum 1000 temperature data logger model with the exception that the 21X unit has a modified external temperature channel that allows it work with an EPT-010-TDB Refrigerator & Freezer Temperature Probe.
The modified external temperature probe channel is configured to accept a 10K R25 Temperature Probe rather than the 100K R25 probe (EPT-010) on the standard SP-1000 model. The advantage of such a configuration is that the 10K characteristic allows the probe to measure low temperatures with a greater degree of resolution and precision.
