Type E Temperature Measurement Accuracy
The following graph details the instrument accuracy of the Spectrum 1700 Thermocouple data logger over the rated Type E measurement ranges for both Wide Range ("W") models (top graph line) and Narrow range ("N") models.

Instrument accuracy is based on a 25° C. cold junction temperature. Probe errors and probe temperature range limitations are excluded.

About Type E Thermocouples
Type E thermocouples are made up of a positive Chromel wire and a negative Constantan wire. Type E thermocouples have the highest voltage output of any standard thermocouple type and thus can offer superior temperature resolution.
