As part of the Vaisala Veriteq continuous monitoring system, viewLinc software provides monitoring with alarming, real-time data trending, and records that help with complying with the continuous monitoring requirements of all major regulatory bodies.

The newest version of viewLinc — viewLinc 3.6 — is available in German, French, Chinese and Japanese and can be used with the 300 series of Vaisala devices, including: HMT33X, DMT34X, MMT33X, PTU30X (X denotes specific models).

Ideal for both large-scale systems and standalone applications, viewLinc integrates with your existing network, eliminating the cost of installing and maintaining a dedicated network for a continuous monitoring system. The software supports Ethernet, PoE, WiFi or a combination of all connectivity options.

The viewLinc software allows users to monitor, alarm, and report on Vaisala Veriteq data loggers and supported Vaisala devices via www.viewlinc.com. The software is installed on your existing network and accessed from Microsoft® Internet Explorer® or Mozilla® Firefox® Internet browser.

viewLinc allows users to:

• Monitor and report on temperature, relative humidity and other parameters from data loggers or sensors from a remote location;

• View real-time data in a graphical format and generate historical data trending and alarm reports;

• Receive visual, audible or email alarms if conditions go out of compliance or if the network goes down;

• Analyze events, such as when alarms, acknowledgements or communication problems;

• Schedule transfers of data into graphs and tables;

• Create preconfigured comments for alarm notifications for specific monitored areas;

viewLinc is compatible with Microsoft Windows XP, 2003 (32 & 64), 2008 (32 & 64) and Windows 7 (32 & 64-bit systems). Other requirements are determined by the number of monitored points you require.

The Vaisala Veriteq CMS can handle data throughput for 1,000+ channel/inputs. The viewLinc software provides fail-safe security and the ability to view data loggers and channels, including the detailed naming of monitored areas. viewLinc administrators can assign permission to restrict users to view, set thresholds or acknowledge alarms within their areas of responsibility.

To configure the system to your needs, viewLinc allows you to schedule alarm notification by day, time and/or personnel. Users can customize alerts according to shift schedules and escalation procedures.
